Based on the beloved 2003 Pixar film, Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a captivating 60-minute musical adaptation filled with new music by the award-winning songwriting team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Join Marlin, an anxious and overprotective clownfish, as he navigates the vast ocean in search of his son, Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their cozy anemone home. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and embarks on an epic adventure across the sea.

Along the way, campers will meet a cast of unforgettable characters, including the optimistic and forgetful Dory, the laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang. Join us for a high-energy, one-week musical theater experience with Mean Girls Jr.! This immersive show camp is perfect for passionate young performers who are ready to work hard, build their skills, and bring a full-scale musical to life in just five days of rehearsals.

Camp runs Monday, August 4 through Saturday, August 9, with full-day sessions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This program is ideal for students who are focused, enthusiastic, and excited to collaborate in a fast-paced, creative environment.

About the Show:

The Plastics have deemed Broadway Junior worthy of their presence in Mean Girls JR! This “fetch” musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is packed with keen wit, an undeniably catchy score, and a sincere message for everyone.

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.
